iPhotoDraw

When someone asks you for a picture, you may need to add a comment or outline something specific. Most image editing software are either too simple or too complicated for this task. iPhotoDraw will not burden you with too many tools to click on. It features the right amount of tools for inserting various callouts in a picture.

The software is free, regardless if you need it for personal or commercial use. Once installed, it will take up only 7.44 Mb of your free disk space. It is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and Win 7 and it does not require top of the line hardware. You only need to make sure you have MS .NET Framework 3.0 or higher installed.

iPhotoDraw is similar to most editing programs. A loaded image can be edited on the larger area from the center of the interface and the available tools and adjustment options can be found on the left, right and top edges of the window.

Advanced knowledge is not required if you want to make use of the software's full potential. You can insert any callout by dragging the mouse cursor over the image, after clicking the appropriate tool on the left edge of the interface. You may add shapes like rectangles, ellipses, triangles, speech bubbles and many more. Some shapes can be found in a pop up menu after right clicking one of these tools.

The shapes you add may be customized in various ways. You can change the style of their borders, thickness, or color, fill the shapes with colors or images, set a different transparency level and more. It is also possible to add text on them and change their font settings. These options can be found in the form of drop menus or simple buttons on the right edge of the main window. Alternatively, you can double click an inserted shape. This will bring up a tabbed window with a few additional options for that shape.
